today we got up early for a journey to our next destination - Hamner Springs. This wonderful destination is on the way to Christchurch and has thermal springs and lots of forest around. The journey is a long one but takes us very near to Christchurch so we can enjoy a more leisurely time our drive to Christchurch.
The wonderful scenes coming here were magic - snow capped mountains, scree down the sides, aqua running rivers, grey rocks and lots of yellow flowers from the broom and gorse - both weeds but very pretty at this time of the year.
Til tomorrow - some wine and a bit of painting I am thinking.
